Moondream 3.1 is a 9B-parameter mixture-of-experts vision-language model with about 2B active parameters and a 32K context window, released under the Moondream License. It handles visual question answering, captioning, object detection, and pointing at the inference cost of a small dense model, making it a cheap choice for high-volume image understanding.
